what emerges from the interaction space of human-artificial expression?
The installation explores emergent outcomes from human-machine collaboration, where participants are asked to interact with the artificial system to produce patterns of music and light. Inspired by imitation games we encode two "personalities" in the system which interact with each other through call and response dynamics, and are influenced by participant interaction with trigger buttons.
The result is an experiential performance which is produced from embodied feedback loops where the machine echoes the human, and vice-versa. The boundary between human and machine expression is blurred: a synergistic relationship is formed.
